Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ajai Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivar Lodbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lodbrok has chosen Killing in the name of... as his entrance music. Ivar Lodbrok will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoo throws a body punch but Lodbrok moves out of range.

Hoo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lodbrok.
A punch lands to the side of Lodbrok 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Hoo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Hoo throws an overhand right that lands on Lodbrok's shoulder, as Lodbrok tries to avoid the shot.
Lodbrok thumps Hoo with a low kick.
Lodbrok displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hoo throws out the jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hoo is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Lodbrok's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Hoo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

and Lodbrok counters with a good, hard body kick but Hoo shrugs it off.

Lodbrok lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hoo!
Lodbrok takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Hoo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lodbrok pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Oh Hoo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lodbrok has Hoo pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Hoo is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Lodbrok - that's hurt Hoo badly! Oh, another knee lands and Hoo is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Hoo doesn't seem to be complaining.
