Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronn Blackwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolla comes to the cage accompanied by Gotta Get It On from Taboo 2. Blackwater has chosen For Whom the Bell Tolls as his entrance music. Bronn Blackwater told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carolla looks to land a combination but Blackwater avoids it well.
Carolla lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Blackwater sprawling to the canvas. Carolla follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Blackwater hang on?

Blackwater is rocked!

It looks like Bronn Blackwater has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blackwater has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carolla is working away from the top position though.
Blackwater is still in real trouble! Can Carolla finish him?
Carolla perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Blackwater seems to have recovered his senses.
Carolla trying to control the action but Blackwater is working from the bottom.

Blackwater is refusing to be controlled, as Carolla sits in half guard.
Blackwater wants to improve his position but Carolla is controlling well.

Blackwater flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Carolla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Carolla throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blackwater fails in his attempt to clinch.

Blackwater closes the distance and clinches.
Carolla wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Blackwater misses with a knee to the head.

Carolla wants to get back to striking at distance but Blackwater won't allow it.

Blackwater pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carolla throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blackwater is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carolla.
Carolla works Blackwater's body with a nice hook.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Blackwater takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carolla's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Carolla duly obliges.
Carolla looks to land a combination but Blackwater avoids it well.
A punch combination from Carolla misses.
Blackwater blocks a head kick by Carolla.
Danga de danga de dang - Carolla scores with a four punch combination!

That has opened up Bronn Blackwater's cut even more.
Carolla cracks Blackwater with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carolla has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Blackwater to stand back up!
Carolla steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Blackwater is out on his feet! Carolla sets himself and nearly takes Blackwater's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
