Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
McGregor smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Tommy Gun has been cut.
McGregor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gun swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McGregor defending well as Gun loads up on a big left hand.
Gun throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. McGregor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGregor is looking to clinch.
McGregor fails with an attempt to clinch.
A swing and a miss from Gun.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGregor tries to close the distance and clinch but Gun swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gun shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGregor pinned against the cage. McGregor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

McGregor closes the distance and clinches.
A short uppercut from McGregor.
McGregor keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gun's efforts to push away.
McGregor throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Guns head.
Gun has been working on his balance at Titan Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by McGregor.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGregor lands a hook to the side of the head.
Gun throws a head punch that misses.
McGregor using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gun has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A short uppercut from McGregor.

McGregor drops Gun with a big knee straight up the middle! Gun is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Gun is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gun gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McGregor counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Gun out cold! What a finish! McGregor is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Conor McGregor!
In his post fight interview, Conor McGregor started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
