The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asanov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Olah counters with a good low kick that Asanov was not able to check.
Asanov moves forwards but Olah connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Olah shoots in looking for a takedown. Asanov tries to sprawl out of it but Olah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Asanov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Asanov is staying active underneath Olah, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Olah connects with a nice short shot to Asanov's temple.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guljigit Asanov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Guljigit Asanov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
