The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Somchaimy scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lincon in his tracks.

It looks like Abe Lincon has been cut.
Lincon takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Lincon shoots in for a takedown but Somchaimy shows good takedown defense.
Somchaimy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lincon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Nopparat Somchaimy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Somchaimy looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Somchaimy tries to land a front kick but Lincon steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Somchaimy throws a body kick that misses.
We've been hearing reports that Somchaimy has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Somchaimy moves into the clinch.
Somchaimy has Lincon pressed against the cage, preventing Lincon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Somchaimy.

Somchaimy fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lincon checks it well.

Lincon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Somchaimy is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lincon.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lincon. Somchaimy does a little dance to reset his feet.

Lincon lands with an uppercut that bounces Somchaimy off the cage and back into range.
Somchaimy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Lincon takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nopparat Somchaimy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Somchaimy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lincon on the side of the head.

Somchaimy cracks Lincon with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lincon looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Somchaimy finish him?
Somchaimy ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Somchaimy lands a big right hand that sends Lincon crashing to the mat! Somchaimy stays standing though and waves Lincon back to his feet!

Lincon is rocked!

That has opened up Abe Lincon's cut even more.
Somchaimy looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Somchaimy backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Lincon's temple! It sends Lincon violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Somchaimy celebrates and the doctors try to help Lincon!
