Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Philip Farmery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galdra Kiddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Farmery kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Axewound-Cold. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Galdra Kiddi!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiddi looks to score with a jab to the body but Farmery is just out of range.
Kiddi loads up on a big right hand but Farmery slips the punch.
Philip Farmery seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Farmery gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kiddi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Farmery's guard now.
Farmery is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kiddi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Farmery is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kiddi connects with a couple of short punches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Farmery pulls Kiddi in close to prevent any damage.
Farmery is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Farmery shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Farmery showed some decent athleticism there.

Kiddi is trying to stick to Farmery's back but Farmery is turning into Kiddi. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kiddi's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Farmery.
Farmery stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kiddi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Farmery drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Farmery jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kiddi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Farmery missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Kiddi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Farmery's guard.

Kiddi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Farmery gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kiddi gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Farmery jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Kiddi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Kiddi and Farmery has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Galdra Kiddi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kiddi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Farmery is working away from the top position though.
