The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cliff throws a right hand that Lunar ducks under and follows up with a left that Lunar also avoids with ease.
Lunar fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cliff checks it well.
Cliff just misses with a punch to the body.
Lunar explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Cliff takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Ziggy Cliff has been cut.
Lunar attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Lunar is looking to clinch but Cliff is avoiding it.
Lunar's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cliff under the eye.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lunar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cliff.

A head kick lands from Lunar that sends Cliff to the canvas. Cliff tries to scramble back to his feet but Lunar brings him back down into side control.

Lunar has the hooks in. Cliff is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lucas Lunar hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lunar cracks Cliff with an uppercut from hell and Cliff crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Lunar's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Lunar cracks Cliff with a hook to the temple - Cliff is on wobbly legs here! Lunar swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Cliff falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Lunar wins by TKO!

Lucas Lunar is the new welterweight champion!
Lucas Lunar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Ziggy Cliff spoke after the fight, saying 'Came into this fight with 52% energy.'.
