Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robbin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Nervecell - Psychogenocide. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie has his takedown stuffed

and Parks counters by moving into the clinch.
Parks lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Parks struggles to land a body shot inside as Gracie controls his hands.
Gracie has Parks pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parks manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Parks misses with a body punch.
Parks misses with a hook from the clinch.
Parks misses with the head strike.
Gracie blocks a body shot from Parks.
Parks doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Good body shot from Parks.
Gracie prevents a body shot from Parks.
Parks misses with a hook from the clinch.
Parks can't find room to land a body shot as Gracie controls the action.
Parks is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Parks down to the mat. Parks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robbin Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parks moves into the clinch.

Parks makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Parks.
Gracie is trying to pull guard but Parks turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Parks is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gracie can't fight it off and eventually Parks manages to take the fight to the floor. Gracie looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Parks scoring with some ground and pound.
Parks makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Parks stays in close to Gracie's body and controls the position.

Parks trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Parks throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gracie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Parks landing with the ground and pound.

Parks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Parks defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parks working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Parks trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Parks distracts Gracie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Parks lands a couple of digs.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Parks scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Gracie is rocked!
Parks told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Parks with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Parks scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Parks gets to his feet and stands over Gracie, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Gracie felt that one! Parks unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Gracie from any more punishment!
