The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harunodo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Drake counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Drake wants to pass the guard but Harunodo is keeping the position.
Drake throws a strike but Harunodo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Drake is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Drake manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harunodo manages to get himself to full guard.
Harunodo wants to stand up but Drake is controlling him.
Drake is pushing down on Harunodo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harunodo is fighting to maintain full guard but Drake has managed to sneak the leg through.
Harunodo looks like he's trying to stand up.

Drake wants to take a breather but Harunodo is having none of it.

Drake looking to sit in guard and control but Harunodo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
