Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damozzi fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hardy to the ground. Damozzi is now in Hardy's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Damozzi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hardy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hardy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Damozzi wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Damozzi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Damozzi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hardy to the mat! Hardy manages to get full guard.

Hardy has his foot on Damozzi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Damozzi works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Damozzi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
