Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Amaral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harley Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe has chosen The Dead Brothers - Old Pine Box as his entrance music. Rafael Amaral has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harley Crowe!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amaral misses the shot to the body.
Amaral is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Crowe will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Crowe feints and as Amaral raises his hands in defense, Crowe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Crowe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Crowe wants to control the pace but Amaral is squirming around nicely.
Amaral knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crowe on the ground.

Crowe wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Crowe moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Amaral has worked his arm free - good work by Amaral!

Amaral loads up on a big right hand but Crowe slips the punch.
Crowe thows a body shot but no joy.
Amaral lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crowe circles away quickly and effectively.

Crowe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Amaral, who protects the arm well.

Crowe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Amaral's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Crowe goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Amaral has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Crowe but great work by Amaral.

Amaral got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crowe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Amaral has managed to get both his arms back between Crowe's legs - danger averted.

Amaral is sitting in close to Crowe's body. Crowe has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Amaral is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Amaral is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Crowe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Harley Crowe!
Harley Crowe was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
