Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Slim Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Pinochet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe comes to the cage accompanied by Noah Gundersen - Oh Death. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinochet has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Crowe.
Crowe moves out of range as Pinochet strikes.
Pinochet closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pinochet lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Pinochet working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Pinochet is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
My spies in CW's Elite Kung-Fu Academy inform me that Pinochet has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Slim Crowe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Pinochet.

Pinochet shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crowe as he avoids it easily.

Pinochet throws a looping overhand right but Crowe ducks down to avoid it.
Crowe connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Good leg kick by Crowe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Pinochet fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pinochet throws a shot from downtown. Crowe moves away and avoids it.
Pinochet takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Pinochet fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Crowe avoids it really well and circles away.

Crowe lands a glancing blow to the side of Pinochet's head.

Pinochet shoots in looking for a takedown. Crowe tries to sprawl out of it but Pinochet keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crowe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by Pinochet or perhaps it was just good defense by Crowe which made him look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pinochet dives in and scores a takedown into Crowe's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pinochet has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Slim Crowe dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Augusto Pinochet's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pinochet lands a nice hook to Crowe's body. Crowe takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Augusto Pinochet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinochet has his takedown stuffed
and Crowe counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pinochet's knee momentarily.
Pinochet shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Crowe as he jumps to the side.
Crowe looks to land a right hand but Pinochet moved out of range.
Crowe throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pinochet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crowe swivels and escapes.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Crowe. Pinochet shrugs it off though.
Pinochet shoots in for a takedown but Crowe shows good takedown defense.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Pinochet.

No joy there for Crowe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pinochet just misses with a punch to the body.

and Crowe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Pinochet changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crowe tries to avoid it but Pinochet manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crowe to the ground. Crowe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Crowe moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

A combination from Crowe does no damage.
Crowe dips to his left and cracks Pinochet with an uppercut!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pinochet crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Crowe - the referee stops the clock and Pinochet gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Crowe. Pinochet manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Pinochet takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Pinochet on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Crowe. Crowe obviously looking to wear him down.
Crowe feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pinochets jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That has opened up Augusto Pinochet's cut even more.
Pinochet shoots in looking for a takedown but Crowe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pinochet's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Crowe lands with a nice body kick.
A cross from Crowe lands.
Crowe circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Pinochet to the canvas! Pinochet doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Crowe keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slim Crowe!
Post fight, Slim Crowe took to the microphone: 'President Allende says hello, bitch.'.
