Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitali Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowe comes to the cage accompanied by Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - Kill Again. Kersikov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dj Nosferatu - When Angels Cry. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eli Crowe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitali Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Crowe lands a lovely overhand right.


It looks like Vitali Kersikov has been cut.
Crowe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Kersikov takes one to the chin there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kersikov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Crowe looks for the body kick but Kersikov saw that one coming.
Crowe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kersikov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Crowe doesn't manage to clinch there - Kersikov circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eli Crowe will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Crowe feints and then cracks Kersikov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kersikov down.
Crowe lands with a thumping leg kick.

Kersikov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Crowe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crowe tries to close the distance and clinch but Kersikov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Eli Crowe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Crowe lunges at Kersikov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kersikov's hand.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Crowe, right into the meat.
Kersikov takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Crowe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kersikov moves away.

Kersikov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Crowe scores with a kick to the body.

Kersikov takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Crowe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kersikov sprawling to the canvas! Kersikov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Crowe finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Crowe cracks Kersikov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Crowe has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kersikov to stand back up!


Kersikov is rocked!


That has opened up Vitali Kersikov's cut even more.
Kersikov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kersikov is still on wobbly legs! Can Crowe finish him?
Crowe throws an overhand right that drops Kersikov like a sack of potatoes! Crowe dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Crowe!
In his post fight interview, Eli Crowe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
