Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lupe Gill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike BossMan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lupe Gill has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lupe Gill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike BossMan!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

BossMan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Gill lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, BossMan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike BossMan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Gill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



BossMan clinches with his opponent.
Gill tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. BossMan smiles and moves away.
BossMan fails in his attempt to clinch.

BossMan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

BossMan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gill was covering up waiting for the punch and BossMan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gill keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

BossMan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mike BossMan wasn't active enough on the ground.

BossMan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

BossMan slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Gill.
Gill is trying to stand.

BossMan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gill is just riding it out for now. BossMan eventually gives up the hold.

Well BossMan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
