And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Macadam Baird!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Baird.
Robertson scores with a jab. Baird acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Robertson thows a body shot but no joy.
Robertson throws out a leg kick but Baird moves out of range and Robertson only half commits.
Robertson connects with a single shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Baird takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Baird lands with a kick to the ribs.
Robertson lands a nice looking body shot.
Robertson looks for the body kick but Baird saw that one coming.
Baird has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Robertson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Robertson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Baird counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Robertson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Robertson tries a low kick but Baird avoids it.
Baird shoots in and drives through. Robertson sprawls well.
Baird goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Baird with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Robertson to score with a decent uppercut.

Baird takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jase Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Robertson misses with a looping right.
Baird wants to clinch up but Robertson keeps it at a distance.
Baird misses the shot to the body.
Jase Robertson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Baird ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Baird closes the distance and clinches.

Baird has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Robertson uses from the top position.
Robertson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Robertson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Robertson gets to his feet. Baird looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Baird gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Robertson.

Baird looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Baird wants to control but Robertson is keeping him busy.
Robertson tries to get to full guard but Baird has control of the leg.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robertson wants to improve his position but Baird is controlling well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Baird wants to control the pace but Robertson is squirming around nicely.
Baird pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Robertson is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at HILITE Fighting Club that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Baird! Robertson is out cold! This one is all over!

Macadam Baird took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
