Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasputin Erasmus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by CLICK CLICK BOOM! by Saliva. Erasmus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rasputin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rasputin Erasmus!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Erasmus defends it nicely.

Coleman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Coleman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Coleman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Erasmus is working away from the top position though.

Erasmus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coleman controls Erasmus momentarily but Erasmus frees himself.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Coleman wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Erasmus, as that shot connected.


It looks like Brock Coleman has been cut.

Coleman feints and as Erasmus raises his hands in defense, Coleman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Coleman throws an elbow that misses. Erasmus uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Coleman's guard. Nice move by Erasmus!

Erasmus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Coleman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Erasmus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Coleman manages to avoid it.

Coleman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Erasmus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That has opened up Rasputin Erasmus's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Coleman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Erasmus was covering up waiting for the punch and Coleman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Erasmus seems to have recovered his senses.
Coleman advances to half guard.
Erasmus wants to control but Coleman is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Coleman is looking to stall here but Erasmus recovers full guard.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Coleman here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Coleman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Coleman manages to end up in side control.

Erasmus seems a little lost for a moment, as Coleman dominates the positioning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brock Coleman showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coleman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
