PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quik Yin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yin has chosen I Got A Feeling (lol :P) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yin misses with a takedown
and Glover counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Yin shoots for a double leg takedown but Glover sprawls well. He's pushed Yin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Glover throws a hook but Yin avoids it easily.
Yin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Glover looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Yin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Glover napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Glover is not content to let Yin control the position.

Glover is desperately trying to improve his position but Yin has a good base and remains in mount.

Glover tries to lock up and control but Yin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Glover bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Glover got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Glover has managed to get both his arms back between Yin's legs - danger averted.

Yin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Glover doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Glover manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Glover stands up over Yin, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Yin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Glover is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yin sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Yin prevents Glover from improving his position.
Glover is looking to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Glover has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yin is working away from the top position though.

A close round but Quik Yin will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Yin moves out of range as Glover strikes.
Yin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Glover manages to avoid it.
A left and a right from Glover both land. Nice combination.
Yin slips under a jab.
Yin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Glover tries to avoid it but Yin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Glover to the ground. Glover escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Glover avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A head kick misses from Yin.
Glover rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Glover looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
No joy there for Glover, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Glover throws a series of punches but Yin moves out of range.
Glover throws a jab when Yin was well out of range.
Yin misses with an uppercut.
Yin goes for a double leg but Glover avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Glover continues to drive forward.

Glover is trying to break free.
Glover wants to get back to striking at distance but Yin won't allow it.
Yin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Glover pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jason Glover has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quik Yin.

Yin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice defenses there by Glover.
No luck for Yin with that takedown attempt.
Glover misses with a jab, cross combination.

Yin drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glover controls Yin momentarily but Yin frees himself.

Yin stands and throws Glover's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Yin wants to control but Glover is keeping him busy.
Glover wants to get back to his feet but Yin is dominant here and he's now got Glover's back!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Yin's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Glover tries to escape but Yin has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Yin is persistently looking for the submission but Glover is defending it well.

Yin is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Glover with him. Glover is trying to defend but Yin has an arm under the chin now! Glover grimaces and is forced to tap out!
