Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Macadam Baird (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baraka Simengwa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Simengwa's choice of entrance music: Afande Sele feat Ditto - Darubini kali. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simengwa tries to clinch but Baird is having none of it.

Baird rushes Simengwa and presses him up against the cage.
Baird definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Simengwa controls Baird momentarily but Baird frees himself.

Baird keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Simengwa's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Baird stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simengwa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Baird got a little sloppy there for a moment and Simengwa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baird has managed to get both his arms back between Simengwa's legs - danger averted.

Baird is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Simengwa gets his way!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Baird manages to reverse the position and now he's in Simengwa's guard. Nice work there by Baird.

Simengwa has his feet on Baird's thighs here. He's pushed Baird off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Baird screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
