The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevenson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage.
Smith has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Smith looking for a takedown.
Smith tries to circle away but Stevenson has him pinned against the cage.
Stevenson fails to pull guard.
Stevenson stops a takedown attempt from Smith.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Smith drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Stevenson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smith is controlling him.

Smith bucks up and tries to throw Stevenson off but instead Stevenson has got his back!
