The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barron Roughes throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Hug moves into range and clinches up with Barron Roughes.
Barron Roughes is trying to pull guard but Hug has him pressed against the cage.

Hug has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Barron Roughes regains guard immediately.

Hug lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hug might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hug stands up over Barron Roughes, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hug knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barron Roughes on the ground.

Barron Roughes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hug can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Barron Roughes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hug gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hug distracts Barron Roughes with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hug got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barron Roughes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hug has managed to get both his arms back between Barron Roughes's legs - danger averted.

Barron Roughes has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hug should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Barron Roughes has tightened it up now! Hug should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
