Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Guan Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Guan Yu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erick Sierra!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sierra throws a head kick but Yu moves out of range.
Yu misses with a body kick.
Yu throws a leg kick which misses Sierra's front leg but catches the back leg as Sierra tries to avoid it.
Yu connects with the punch.
Sierra closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Sierra thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sierra is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yu.
Yu looks to land a right hand but Sierra moved out of range.
Yu throws a hook but Sierra blocks it.
Sierra on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Yu cracks the inside of Sierra's front leg.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sierra walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Yu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sierra looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Yu lands a nice shot that snaps Sierra's head back.
Yu lands a nice looking body shot.
Guan Yu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Yu throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Sierra counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Yu is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Sierra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yu tries to avoid it but Sierra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yu to the ground. Yu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yu blocks a head kick by Sierra.
Yu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Good leg kick by Yu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Yu motions for Sierra to come forward. Yu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Yu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yu tries to score with a low kick but Sierra moves his leg out of the way.
Nice shot by Yu.
Yu lands a nice looking body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yu, as that shot connected.
Yu misses with an attempted mid kick.
Yu throws a chopping leg kick but Sierra manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yu looks to throw a body kick
and Sierra counters with a three punch combo that has Yu backing up. Yu nods at Sierra to acknowledge the strikes.
Yu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sierra at a distance.
Sierra on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sierra staying out of range there.
Yu throws a head kick but Sierra moves out of range.
Yu cracks Sierra with an open hand slap.
Yu misses with an uppercut
and Sierra counters with a one-two to the body.
Yu keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Yu jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sierra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sierra manages to avoid it.
Sierra uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yu.
Yu scores with the left hand. Sierra knows he should have avoided that one.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sierra checks the leg kick.
Yu thows a left - swing and a miss!
A chopping leg kick lands by Yu.
Yu looks to land a right hand but Sierra moved out of range.
Sierra with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yu to score with a decent uppercut.
A telegraphed right hand from Sierra misses the target.
Nice takedown defense from Yu. No joy for Sierra on that attempt.
Sierra moves out of range as Yu throws a body kick.
Yu lands a jab to Sierra's midsection.
Yu blocks a head kick by Sierra.
A slapping body kick lands there for Yu.
Sierra uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yu.
Yu closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Erick Sierra has been cut.
Guan Yu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yu has taken the fight to the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Yu.
Yu blocks an elbow strike from Sierra.
A bit of stalling here from Yu.
Sierra misses with a punch to the body.
Sierra is trying to stall.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Yu.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Erick Sierra.
Yu connects with a high kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Yu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Yu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Guan Yu dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Erick Sierra's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Yu misses the jab.
Yu connects with a nice looking jab.
Sierra just misses with a punch to the body.
Sierra is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Yu gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Sierra misses with a punch on the inside.
Sierra is trying to maintain a safe position but Yu gets an underhook and turns Sierra into the cage.
Yu makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Yu avoiding damage as Sierra throws knees to the body.
Sierra prevents a body shot from Yu.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Yu.
Sierra tries to stall but Yu uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Yu lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sierra backwards.
Yu lands a nice elbow.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A right handed body shot lands from Yu.
Yu is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sierra can do to turn this around?

Sierra is breathing heavily.
Yu lands a nice uppercut.
Yu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sierra backwards.
Yu dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Yu drops Sierra onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Sierra is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Sierra is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yu lands a big right hand that drops Sierra! The killer instinct kicks in and Yu finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Yu!
