The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marailov punishes Brett's body with a nice straight punch.

Marailov looks to land a right hand but Brett moved out of range.
Marailov is looking to score with low kicks.
Marailov pivots, looking for a leg kick but Brett is out of range and Marailov settles back down.
Brett checks a leg kick nicely.
Marailov throws a hook but Brett avoids it easily.
Marailov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brett on the side of the head.

It looks like Benny Brett has been cut.

Marailov tries to land a sweep but no joy.

After the fight, Benny Brett was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
