The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foles lands an overhand right.
Foles has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McCracken is landing a low percentage of strikes.
McCracken misses with a combination
and Foles counters with a straight right hand.
Foles keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Foles connects with a high kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCracken pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Foles lunges at McCracken with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McCracken's hand.
McCracken looking to land some kicks to the body here.
McCracken falls off balance throwing a combination
and Foles counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McCracken lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
McCracken throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Foles counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Foles tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCracken swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McCracken on the wrong end of a nice hook.
McCracken tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A left lands for McCracken.

Foles lands a big uppercut and McCracken crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McCracken looks OK. Foles waves McCracken back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McCracken pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCracken throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Foles counters with a big right hand! Oh McCracken is in trouble here! Foles follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

A relieved looking Nick Foles thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
