The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobashi moves out of range of the strikes.
Gustin throws a right hand that misses
and Kobashi counters with a nice kick to the body.
Kobashi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gustin.
Gustin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kobashi lands a really nice looking cross but Gustin seems unphased.

Kobashi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gustin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kobashi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gustin checks a leg kick.

Gustin lands a leg kick that knocks Kobashi off balance momentarily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gustin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kobashi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kobashi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kenta Kobashi seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Oh Gustin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kobashi throws a head kick that Gustin semi-blocks.
Kobashi throws a powerful right kick. Gustin tried to block low but the kick was high! Gustin was taken right off of his feet! Kobashi jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Kenta Kobashi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Melvin Gustin was interviewed post fight and said 'I got wrestlefucked.'.
