Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kael Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dallas Rainwater!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rainwater defends it nicely.
Rainwater waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Coleman.
Coleman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rainwater sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Coleman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rainwater decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Coleman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kael Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rainwater comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

An inside leg kick lands from Coleman.
A slow jab from Rainwater misses its intended target.

Sloppy strikes from Rainwater. Those never looked like landing.
Kael Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rainwater throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coleman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Coleman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Coleman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rainwater fails to land the takedown.
No luck for Coleman with that takedown attempt.
Rainwater on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rainwater misses the jab.
Rainwater tries for a takedown but Coleman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rainwater tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coleman was well out of range. Poor timing from Rainwater.

Rainwater leaves Coleman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Rainwater counters with a two punch combo.

Rainwater closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rainwater lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coleman is trying to control the position but Rainwater postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rainwater stands up from Coleman's guard - Rainwater perhaps looking for a knockout.

Coleman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rainwater to the mat! Rainwater manages to get full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rainwater wants to sweep here but Coleman controlling him for the moment.
Coleman trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rainwater's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rainwater holds on and takes a little breather.

Coleman is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rainwater has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Coleman is looking to defend but Rainwater has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Coleman! Rainwater pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Coleman taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dallas Rainwater!
