Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Feathers.
It looks like Anand Pawar has been cut.
Feathers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pawar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Feathers misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Pawar with that takedown attempt.
Pawar is looking to clinch but Feathers is avoiding it.
Feathers throws a right hand that Pawar ducks under and follows up with a left that Pawar also avoids with ease.
Pawar feints and as Feathers raises his hands in defense, Pawar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Feathers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pawar prevents Feathers from getting back to his feet.
Pawar wants to control from the top but Feathers keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Anand Pawar wasn't active enough on the ground.

Anand Pawar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Feathers feints and as Pawar raises his hands in defense, Feathers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pawar has his foot on Feathers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Feathers works his way back into a safe position though.

Feathers stays in close to Pawar's body and controls the position.

Pawar wants to sweep here but Feathers controlling him for the moment.

Pawar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Feathers!
Pawar should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pawar misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pawar has eaten all the pies!
Feathers is squirming around, avoiding Pawar's attempts to control the action.
Pawar stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Feathers leaves Pawar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Isaac Feathers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anand Pawar.
Pawar looks winded!

Feathers throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Feathers misses with a two punch combination.
Feathers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pawar tries for a takedown but Feathers circles away easily
and Feathers counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Feathers scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Pawar tries to kick Feathers off but Feathers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Anand Pawar will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Feathers drives through with a takedown into Pawar's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Feathers won't allow Pawar to sweep him here.
Feathers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pawar on the ground.
Feathers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pawar to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Feathers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pawar pulls down on the head and he's put Feathers to sleep! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Anand Pawar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
