Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Shephard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shephard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to You All Everybody. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Mann!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mann lands with a cross.
Shephard throws a nice looking combination but Mann bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mann misses with a hook to the body
and Shephard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Mark Mann has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mann.
Shephard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mann walks into a stiff left hand from Shephard.
Mann misses with a body shot.
Shephard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Mann keeping moving, preventing Shephard from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shephard trying to control the position from guard on top but Mann is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We're going to have a standup here because Jack Shephard wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
An inside leg kick lands from Mann.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shephard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mann moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mann throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Shephard sizes up Mann with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Shephard has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Synergy Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.
Shephard swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mann counters with a thumping low kick.
Shephard takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Jack Shephard has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mann misses with a few strikes there.
Mann throws a hook to the side of Shephard's head but Shephard sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shephard dodges the punch combination from Mann.
Mann feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Shephard's calf.
Shephard checks a leg kick nicely.
Mann slips a jab and a cross from Shephard.
Mann misses with a left hand
and Shephard counters with a left to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shephard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mann fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mann throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shephard.
Mann throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shephard counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mann! Shephard lets Mann back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Mann is rocked!
Shephard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mann is still on wobbly legs! Can Shephard finish him?
Shephard cracks Mann's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Mann slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Shephard can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack Shephard!
After winning the bout, Jack Shephard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
