Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Arlen Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arlen Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Harris!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Black dives in and grabs Harris's left leg, looking for a takedown. Harris pushes down on Black's head and hops out.

Harris dives in and scores a takedown into Black's guard.
Harris's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Harris gets to his feet. Black looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Harris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Black to the mat! Black manages to get full guard.
Black controlling Harris's posture.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harris missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Harris throws a big elbow that misses.
Harris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Harris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Harris keeps trying to improve his position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Harris wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Harris wasn't active enough on the ground.
Harris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Black closes the distance and pushes Harris back into the cage.

Harris works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Black keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully.
Harris is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Harris controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

David Harris has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Harris shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harris trying to work for an americana but Black has managed to regain full guard.
Black really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Black wants to sweep here but Harris controlling him for the moment.

Harris postures up.
Harris is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Harris pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Black is keeping the position for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. David Harris wasn't active enough on the ground.

Harris drives through and clinches with Black against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Harris dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



The fight moves into the clinch position.

Harris breaks from the clinch.
Harris throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Black holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Black tries for a takedown but Harris manages to get underhooks.

Black manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Black being controlled here, momentarily.
Harris trying to control but Black is working from the bottom.
Harris wants to stand but Black has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Black is trying to control the position but Harris postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Harris.
Black dives in for a single leg takedown but Harris sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Black pulls guard successfully.
Harris trying to stand up but can't free himself from Black's guard.

Harris decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters circling a little - Harris finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Harris feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Black is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Harris is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harris trying to control the position from guard on top but Black is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Black tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.

Harris scores with a shoulder strike.
Harris lands a nice elbow.

Harris jumps guard and drags Black to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Harris is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Harris wants to pass the guard but Black is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harris trying to control the action but Black is working from the bottom.
Black is trying to maintain the position but Harris is very close to passing his half guard.
Harris throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
David Harris has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Black is trying to control but Harris manages to pass to mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Harris passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Black!
Harris unloads with some shots from mount but Black bucks and avoids them well.
Black blocking the ground and pound.
Harris content just to control the position here.

Harris throws some wild stikes that Black manages to avoid easily.
Black wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Harris.

Harris moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Black has worked his arm free - good work by Black!
Black is looking for a sweep.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Black stops Harris from passing to mount.

Harris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Black, who protects the arm well.
Harris content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Black manages to work his way to half guard, despite Harris's best efforts.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harris tries to pass the half guard into mount. Black knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Harris is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Harris misses with a head shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harris controlling his opponent.
Let's hope that Harris has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Harris wants to control but Black has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

David Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Harris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
