Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between DonT Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seth Taylor will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, DonT Bill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seth Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bill drives through with a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Bill is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Taylor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Taylor has escaped and now he's on top!

Bill is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Taylor is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bill has his foot on Taylor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taylor works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Taylor trying to control but Bill is working from the bottom.

Bill is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bill working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Taylor has passed into half guard!
Taylor is looking to advance position but Bill won't allow it.
Bill wants to control but Taylor is keeping busy.
Bill is looking for a sweep. Taylor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bill is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Bill looking for submissions off his back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bill is trying to maintain the position but Taylor is very close to passing his half guard.
Bill regains full guard. Nicely done.
Bill keeping moving, preventing Taylor from controlling successfully.

Bill is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Taylor not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bill is staying active underneath Taylor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bill looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Bill trying to hold on to Taylor's head to control him but Taylor postures up.
Bill makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bill.
We've been informed that Taylor has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Taylor trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Bill throws his legs up looking for a submission but Taylor uses it to pass to side control.
Bill might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bill tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You can see the frustration on Bill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bill is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bill sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Bill regains full guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DonT Bill dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Taylor closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bill to the mat! Bill manages to get full guard.

Bill has his feet on Taylor's thighs here. He's pushed Taylor off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Taylor screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
