Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Uruk Owraa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Christopher Seamon!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owraa throws a series of strikes that have Seamon backpedaling.

Owraa gets a double leg takedown into Seamon's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Owraa trying to control but Seamon is working from the bottom.
Seamon lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Seamon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Owraa is one step ahead there.

Seamon is looking for a triangle but Owraa pushes his legs off easily.
Seamon seems keen to control Owraa's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Owraa trying to control but Seamon is working from the bottom.

Seamon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Well, if Seamon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Seamon seems to be looking for submissions.
Seamon passes to full mount!
The referee warns Owraa that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Seamon is landing with some decent strikes but Owraa is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Owraa is breathing heavily.
Owraa is in a horrible position here. Seamon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Seamon is landing with some decent strikes but Owraa is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Seamon is working for a guillotine from mount but Owraa frees his head quite easily.

Seamon lands a couple of good shots and Owraa has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Seamon connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Owraa to escape the position.
Seamon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Owraa is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Owraa is trying to remain composed but Seamon is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Seamon scores with punches from the back.
Owraa is taking damage to the body and head.

Seamon connects with a big shot to the side of Owraa's head.
Owraa is covering up but some of the strikes from Seamon are getting through and doing damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Seamon trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Seamon working for a choke but Owraa is defending well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Owraa won't enjoy being in this position. Seamon looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Owraa is tapping - it's over boys! Seamon picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Christopher Seamon!
A relieved looking Christopher Seamon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Uruk Owraa was interviewed post fight and said 'I did not get to drink the blood of my opponent but I promise Il be back to take his soul.'.
