Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryszard Duch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Hoffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duch comes to the cage accompanied by John Cage's 4'33". Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoffer looks to land a left hand but Duch moved out of range nicely.

Hoffer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Hoffer throws a strike but Duch rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Our spies down at at Johny Fighting Temple inform us that Hoffer has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Duch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hoffer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hoffer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hoffer!

Duch is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hoffer scores with a couple of nice shots.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hoffer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Duch drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hoffer dives on top into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hoffer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Duch manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Hoffer postures up in Duch's guard and throws a big left but Duch blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hoffer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hoffer connects with a couple of short punches.
Duch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hoffer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Hoffer distracts Duch with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hoffer stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Duch has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Hoffer manages to get his head free but now Duch has transitioned to an armbar! Hoffer grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Duch! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Ryszard Duch was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
