The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bubby closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stone quickly recovers to half guard.

Bubby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stone gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bubby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Stone bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bubby takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stone is looking to chop away at Bubby's legs.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bubby paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bubby throws a body kick that misses.
Bubby circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stone throws a leg kick but Bubby sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Stone misses the shot to the body.
Stone tries to land a front kick but Bubby steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Stone fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bubby.
Stone's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Stone duly obliges.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bubby is rocked!
Bubby gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Stone gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Post fight, an emotional Ben Stone said 'Dude, like.. whoah man.. did you see that? I'm like one of those PRIDE fighter dudes y'know? Hit or miss in the UFC, and like, I totally kick ass in Japan man.'.
