PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel has chosen Kollegah - Bossaura as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Lynch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Steel!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel throws a sloppy head kick and Lynch moves out of range easily.
A low kick from Steel is predictable there
and Lynch counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Steel tried to score with a low kick but Lynch checks it.
Lynch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Steel was well out of range. Poor timing from Lynch.
Steel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lynch.
Lynch slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Steel tries a head kick but it misses.
Lynch buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
David Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lynch seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
