Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abe MacDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Davis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics MacDougal uses from the top position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

MacDougal wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Abe MacDougal wasn't active enough on the ground.

MacDougal gets caught flat footed, as Davis shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

MacDougal has his foot on Davis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davis works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

MacDougal manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.

MacDougal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Davis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Abe MacDougal hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Davis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging MacDougal to the ground. Davis is now in MacDougal's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now MacDougal is on top in guard.

Davis is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but MacDougal has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Davis is looking to defend but MacDougal has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Davis! MacDougal pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Davis taps out and this one is all over!
