Woods has chosen skillet-monster as his entrance music. Woods has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Ross Woods has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schwarzeneg closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Woods looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Schwarzeneg successfully pulls guard.
Schwarzeneg has his hands on Woods's head, controlling the position.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Schwarzeneg manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Schwarzeneg's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Schwarzeneg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Goran Schwarzeneg.
Woods with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Schwarzeneg to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Ross Woods has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Woods tries to keep at a distance but Schwarzeneg has taken the fight into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
