Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Rockin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rami Tummanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tummanen has chosen Musta Barbaari - Salil eka salil vika as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robbie Rockin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rami Tummanen!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tummanen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Tummanen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Tummanen trying to control but Rockin is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rockin keeping full guard, as Tummanen tries to pass.
Tummanen wants to control from the top but Rockin keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tummanen throwing strikes from guard but Rockin blocks nicely.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tummanen trying to control the position from guard on top but Rockin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Rockin misses the shot to the body.
Tummanen tries to counter by closing the distance.
Rockin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tummanen checks a low kick from Rockin.

Tummanen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tummanen stalling.
Rockin is looking to improve his position.

Rockin wants to control but Tummanen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rockin desperately trying to maintain half guard.

Tummanen is working for a kimura but Rockin is defending it quite comfortably.
Rockin holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Rockin throws a sloppy head kick and Tummanen moves out of range easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Rockin misses the target.
Sloppy strikes from Rockin. Those never looked like landing.
Rockin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tummanen manages to avoid it.
Rockin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rockin misses with a body shot.
Rockin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rockin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tummanen.
Tummanen changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Tummanen has closed the distance and engaged Rockin in a clinch.
Tummanen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
I was talking to Rockin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Tummanen wants to take the fight to the mat but Rockin manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Tummanen breaks the clinch.
Rockin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rockin throws a jab but it's blocked by Tummanen.

Tummanen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tummanen prevents Rockin from improving his position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tummanen not doing much here.
Rockin is looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rockin blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tummanen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rami Tummanen will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Rockin moves out of range as Tummanen throws a body kick.
Tummanen avoids the head kick by Rockin.
Rockin tries to land a front kick but Tummanen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tummanen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Tummanen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rockin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tummanen is in Rockin's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tummanen wants to control from the top but Rockin keeps moving.
Tummanen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Tummanen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rockin is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Tummanen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rockin scores with a punch to the head.
Tummanen dives in for a single leg takedown but Rockin sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
As Tummanen looks to move away, Rockin throws a big counter combo bu Tummanen just gets out of the way.
Rockin lands with a right hand.
Rockin pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tummanen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rockin.
Rockin swings for the body but Tummanen moves out of range.
Tummanen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rockin tries to avoid it but Tummanen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rockin to the ground. Rockin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tummanen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rockin circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Tummanen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rockin follows Tummanen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robbie Rockin!
During a confident post fight interview, Robbie Rockin thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
