Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominick De Struicao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horton Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Struicao comes to the cage accompanied by Walk With Me In Hell. Horton Hoo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Struicao cracks a nice hook into Hoo's ribs.
Nice sprawl there from De Struicao as Hoo shoots in.
Hoo checks a low kick from De Struicao.
Hoo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
De Struicao tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hoo is able to avoid easily.
Hoo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hoo dives in for a single leg takedown but De Struicao sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

De Struicao's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
De Struicao swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

De Struicao has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Hoo has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

The fighters are working up against the cage. De Struicao manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Hoo is working for takedown but De Struicao is calmly controlling the position for now.

Hoo wants a takedown but no success here.
De Struicao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hoo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says De Struicao as he avoids it easily.
De Struicao pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hoo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and De Struicao connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hoo scrambles back to his feet.
Donk. De Struicao catches Hoo right on the button with a cross.
Hoo throws a nice inside leg kick.
De Struicao throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As De Struicao backs off Hoo throws a huge counter combo but De Struicao manages to avoid it all.
De Struicao ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Horton Hoo's cut.

De Struicao blocks a head kick by Hoo.
Good exchange - De Struicao coming out on top.
De Struicao misses with a few strikes there.
We've been told by De Struicao's head coaches at Reign in Blood that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
De Struicao is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hoo can do to turn this around?
