The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gajtkowski stalks Johanson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Johanson's face. Johanson staggers backwards, shaken.

We've been hearing good reports from Johanson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Gajtkowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johanson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gajtkowski has managed to get both his arms back between Johanson's legs - danger averted.
Johanson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gajtkowski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Johanson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gajtkowski stacks Johanson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gajtkowski!

Oh Johanson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gajtkowski cracks Johanson's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Johanson slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Gajtkowski can do further damage! This one is done, son!
