Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chet Lamare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamare comes to the cage accompanied by Opeth. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lamare lands with a kick to the temple. Burton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burton feints and then cracks Lamare's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lamare down.

Burton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Burton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lamare looks to move to half guard but instead Burton has passed into mount! Damn!
Burton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lamare is looking to escape.
