With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Romeo Bekeroon!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor looks for a takedown but Bekeroon sprawls well.
McGregor avoids the body shot from Bekeroon.
McGregor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bekeroon sprawls well. Bekeroon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGregor gets slowly back to his feet.
McGregor is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bekeroon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bekeroon misses with an uppercut.
Bekeroon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bekeroon scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Bekeroon misses with a two punch combination.

McGregor shoots in and gets a takedown into Bekeroon's guard.
McGregor trying to control but Bekeroon is working from the bottom.
McGregor with a flurry of punches that miss.
McGregor works over Bekeroon with some ground and pound from guard.


It looks like Romeo Bekeroon has been cut.
McGregor trying to control the position from guard on top but Bekeroon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McGregor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bekeroon is keeping the position for now.

McGregor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bekeroon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McGregor, into his guard.

McGregor is looking for a triangle but Bekeroon pushes his legs off easily.
McGregor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McGregor seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Bekeroon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

McGregor looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bekeroon passes into side control.
McGregor manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
McGregor makes his way to full guard. A much better position for McGregor.

Bekeroon got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGregor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bekeroon has managed to get both his arms back between McGregor's legs - danger averted.
Bekeroon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGregor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bekeroon wanted to stand there but McGregor had control of the position.

McGregor wants to sweep here but Bekeroon controlling him for the moment.

Bekeroon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bekeroon trying to stand up but can't free himself from McGregor's guard.

McGregor has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bekeroon doesn't defend quickly enough and McGregor has managed to lock this one up! Can Bekeroon escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to McGregor on a fantastic submission victory.

Conor McGregor decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
