Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Glen Danzig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bram Nijhoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danzig comes to the cage accompanied by The Misfits- Night of the Living Dead. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nijhoff swats away the attempt to clinch by Danzig.
Nijhoff misses with a takedown attempt
and Danzig counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Danzig tries to bum rush Nijhoff with a series of wild strikes but Nijhoff uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nijhoff.
Danzig has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
No joy there for Danzig, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Danzig tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nijhoff was well out of range. Poor timing from Danzig.
Nijhoff's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Danzig connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nijhoff scrambles back to his feet.
Danzig throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Danzig looks to land a combination but Nijhoff avoids it well.

Danzig moves in looking to clinch but Nijhoff pushes him off.
Danzig connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nijhoff goes for a double leg but Danzig avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Danzig continues to drive forward.
Glen Danzig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bram Nijhoff.

Danzig lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Nijhoff or not.
Nijhoff is trying desperately to land a takedown but Danzig is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Nijhoff.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Glen Danzig tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
