With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Li circles away.
Emelianenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Emelianenko has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Li is landing a low percentage of strikes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fedor Emelianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Emelianenko tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Li defends well and Emelianenko ends up having to push Li into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Emelianenko is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Li is looking to control Emelianenko's arms but Emelianenko gets an underhook and turns him. Now Li has his back to the cage.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David Li.
I think Emelianenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
