Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Karl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Jinglehopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jinglehopper gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Karl stuffs the takedown attempt from Jinglehopper. Jinglehopper gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck for Jinglehopper with that takedown attempt.

Jinglehopper scores with a takedown into Karl's guard.

Karl wants to sweep but no luck.
Karl trying to keep a closed guard but Jinglehopper is proving a slippery customer.
Karl is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jinglehopper is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Jinglehopper looking to sit in guard and control but Karl gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jinglehopper wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Karl's hips, looking to push off. But Karl grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Jinglehopper screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
