Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jai Setright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Stopframe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Setright might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Dagger. Daniel Stopframe will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jai Setright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Stopframe!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stopframe chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Setright can pounce on him.
Stopframe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stopframe throws a leg kick
and Setright connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like Daniel Stopframe has been cut.
Stopframe has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Setright.
Setright misses with a right hand
and Stopframe counters with a left to the body.

Setright takes the fight into the clinch.
Setright using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Setright stalls.
Setright comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

That has opened up Daniel Stopframe's cut even more.

Stopframe takes a knee to the side of the body.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Setright.


Stopframe is rocked!

Setright manages to break the clinch.
Stopframe is still on wobbly legs! Can Setright finish him?
Setright misses with an uppercut. Stopframe saw that one coming.
Stopframe seems to have recovered his senses.
Setright tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stopframe swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Setright closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Setright throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stopframe blocks it with crossed arms.
Stopframe letting Setright take a breather here.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Stopframe takes an elbow to the temple.


The cut above Daniel Stopframe's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Setright lands a big knee to the head and Stopframe goes down! Setright pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jai Setright!
An out of breath Jai Setright thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
