The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tirado fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. French looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tirado looks to land a combination but French avoids it well.

Tirado moves into the clinch.
French tries to score a body lock takedown but Tirado shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
French wants the takedown. Tirado is fighting it off but French persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tirado's guard against the cage.
French postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Tirado is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst French is controlling him.
