Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Price!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lars Kenardly!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenardly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Price paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Price seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Kenardly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Price manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Price shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kenardly napping and manages to drive through into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Price scores with punches from side control.
Price in side control, throwing shots but Kenardly defends.
Kenardly is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Price taking a breather here.
Price working the body and head with strikes.
Price looks up at the clock and then as Kenardly takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Price smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kenardly is trying to control Price's posture but Price avoids it.
Price scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kenardly to see if he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kenardly is looking for a sweep.
Kenardly wants to get back to his feet.
Kenardly tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Price has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The referee warns Kenardly that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Price lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Price is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kenardly can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Price is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Price with a couple of short strikes.
Kenardly tries to reverse the position but Price maintains control.
A nice elbow there by Price.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Price unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kenardly wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Price celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Price!
During a confident post fight interview, Daniel Price thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
