Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elmer Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vesa Keskinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vesa Keskinen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Keskinen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lucas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lucas is trying to control Keskinen's posture but Keskinen avoids it.

Keskinen throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Keskinen decides to stand back up. Keskinen steps back and let's Lucas get back to his feet.

Keskinen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lucas napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Keskinen rushes Lucas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lucas wants to control from the top but Keskinen keeps moving.

Keskinen pushes Lucas off and gets back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lucas looks to clinch
and Keskinen counters with a nice leg kick.

Keskinen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lucas is breathing heavily.
Keskinen advances to half guard.

Keskinen decides to stand and escape the position.

Keskinen clinches with his opponent.
Lucas fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lucas tries to break the clinch but Keskinen is controlling the position.

Keskinen tightens his grip and picks Lucas up, before dumping him to the ground. Lucas manages to land in guard.
Lucas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Keskinen is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Let's hope that Keskinen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Keskinen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lucas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Keskinen.

Keskinen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lucas is just riding it out for now. Keskinen eventually gives up the hold.

Keskinen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lucas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Keskinen is in Lucas's guard.

Lucas has his foot on Keskinen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Keskinen works his way back into a safe position though.

Keskinen jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lucas is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lucas and Keskinen has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Well Keskinen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
