Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lupe Gill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saburo Batou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batou has chosen 96 Quite Bitter Beings-CKY as his entrance music. Saburo Batou is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batou lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Lupe Gill has been cut.

Batou rushes Gill and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gill has had enough of the clinch but Batou keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on Gill's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Gill tries to pull guard but Batou forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Batou landing knees to the body.

Batou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Batou throws a head kick that half lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gill has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gill tries to pull guard but Batou holds him up against the cage and eventually Gill drops back down to his feet.
Gill wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gill blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Batou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Batou throws a sloppy head kick and Gill moves out of range easily.
Batou throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Batou scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Batou rushes Gill and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gill takes an elbow to the forehead.

Batou escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Batou misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gill jabs at Batou's body.
Gill blocks a head kick by Batou.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Batou throws a sloppy head kick and Gill moves out of range easily.
Gill comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gill tries to close the distance and clinch but Batou swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gill forces Batou back against the cage and clinches.
Gill is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Batou to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lupe Gill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gill tries to pull guard but Batou forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Batou's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Batou stuffs the takedown attempt from Gill. Gill gets slowly back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Batou pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Batou, right into the meat.
Batou throws a head kick but Gill moves out of range.

Batou closes the distance and clinches.
Batou lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Batou landing knees to the head.
Gill wants to break the clinch but can't.
Batou lands an elbow inside that Gill shrugs off.

Gill is rocked!

Lupe Gill's cut is getting worse.
Batou utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Oh Gill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Batou working the clinch nicely. Gill is working for position but Batou cracks him with a big knee to the head! Gill crumples up against the cage and Batou lands two more shots before the ref can save Gill! This one is all over!
