Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chance Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Deckin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Chance Crosby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, DJ Deckin!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crosby tries for a takedown but Deckin circles away easily

and Deckin counters by moving into the clinch.

Deckin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Deckin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Crosby wants to sweep but no luck.
Deckin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Crosby trying to keep a closed guard but Deckin is proving a slippery customer.
Crosby really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Deckin wants to pass the guard but Crosby is keeping the position.
Deckin stays in close to Crosby's body and controls the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. DJ Deckin wasn't active enough on the ground.
Deckin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Crosby was well out of range. Poor timing from Deckin.

Deckin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Crosby manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Deckin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Crosby's guard.

Deckin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Crosby's head.
Deckin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. DJ Deckin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deckin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Deckin rushes Crosby and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Deckin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Crosby regains guard.
Deckin tries to free his leg and advance position but Crosby is retaining full guard.
DJ Deckin has got the better of the ground game so far.

Crosby pushes Deckin off and scrambles back to his feet.
Deckin shoots for a double leg takedown but Crosby sprawls well. He's pushed Deckin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Deckin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Deckin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Crosby is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Deckin takes a little break here. Crosby wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Crosby will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Deckin stands up over Crosby, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Deckin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Crosby is proving hard to escape from.

Deckin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

DJ Deckin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Deckin moves into range and clinches up with Crosby.
Crosby misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Deckin.
Crosby throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Deckin blocks it with crossed arms.
Crosby tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Deckin avoids it.
Deckin wants a takedown.

Deckin tightens his grip and picks Crosby up, before dumping him to the ground. Crosby manages to land in guard.
Crosby wants to stand and escape but Deckin is having none of it.
Crosby wants to hit a switch here but Deckin passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Crosby there!

Deckin looking for a guillotine from mount but Crosby is having none of it.
Deckin prevents Crosby from getting the reversal.

Crosby regains half guard.
Deckin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Deckin working over Crosby with some ground and pound. Crosby looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Deckin decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Deckin clinches up against the cage.

Deckin manages to break the clinch.
DJ Deckin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crosby gets tackled into the cage by Deckin. Deckin maintains the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Deckin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Deckin misses with a takedown attempt - Crosby sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Deckin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Deckin drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Deckin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crosby swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crosby not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Deckin works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Crosby is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Crosby wants to get back to full guard but Deckin has mounted him!
Crosby sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Crosby has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Deckin is working away from the top position though.
Deckin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crosby tries to roll over but Deckin keeps him under control.
Deckin tries to pass to full mount but Crosby defends it.
Deckin is thwarting Crosby's attempts to control the position.
Deckin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Deckin seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Deckin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Deckin stays in close to Crosby's body and controls the position.
Crosby looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Crosby is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Deckin wants to control from the top but Crosby keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. DJ Deckin was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Crosby stuffs the takedown attempt from Deckin. Deckin gets slowly back to his feet.
Chance Crosby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Deckin.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deckin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Crosby moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
DJ Deckin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Deckin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
