Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmund Queensberry!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beam defending well as Queensberry loads up on a big left hand.
Queensberry misses with a two punch combination.
Queensberry fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Queensberry misses with a series of wild punches.
Beam takes a swing at Queensberry's ribcage but misses.
Queensberry throws a shot from downtown. Beam moves away and avoids it.
Queensberry swings for the body but Beam moves out of range.
Queensberry misses with an uppercut. Beam saw that one coming.
Queensberry fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Queensberry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Beam is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Queensberry.
Queensberry tries to clinch but Beam is having none of it.
Queensberry moves out of range as Beam strikes.
Queensberry uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beam.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Queensberry connects with a good right hand that stumbles Beam. Beam circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Queensberry misses with a straight left.

Queensberry throws a head kick but Beam moves out of range.
Queensberry explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Beam throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Queensberry sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Queensberry wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Edmund Queensberry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Queensberry cracks the inside of Beam's front leg.
Queensberry shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Beam eats them both and turns towards Queensberry to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Beam keeps the fight on the outside.
Beam has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Queensberry throws a push kick but Beam slaps the foot to one side.
Beam throws a jab when Queensberry was well out of range.

and Queensberry counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Queensberry misses with a few strikes there.
Beam steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Queensberry. That one must have hurt.
Edmund Queensberry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Queensberry wants to slow Beam down by chopping away at his legs.
Beam slips a jab and a cross from Queensberry.
Queensberry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

and Beam counters with a shoot takedown. Queensberry fights it but they end up in guard.

Queensberry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Queensberry wants to sweep but no luck.
Beam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Beam postures up and lands a big shot to Queensberry's brow.
Queensberry is pulling down on Beam's head to control his posture.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Queensberry manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Beam is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Queensberry gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Queensberry throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Queensberry lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Beam turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Queensberry wants to control but Beam postures up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Queensberry avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Beam.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That has opened up Edmund Queensberry's cut even more.
Beam throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Queensberry works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Beam makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.


The cut above Edmund Queensberry's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Edmund Queensberry's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jim Beam!
Jim Beam took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Yu'st got grappl'd'.
